Warranty and Complaints

Warranty

We care about our products and naturally do our best to deliver them to you in top condition. However, it sometimes happens that an order is damaged during transport or something else occurs that allows you to claim warranty. By law, you are obliged to report the defect to us within two months of its discovery. If the defect falls within the warranty, we will arrange for repair or replacement free of charge.

From the moment of purchase, Biezoe offers a 12-month warranty on its fashion jewelry for manufacturing defects, provided that mandatory law does not oppose this, and a 6-month warranty on the plating of its fashion jewelry, unless there is improper use*.

Circumstances covered by the 12-month warranty include:

  • Breakage of the jewelry due to production errors.
  • A broken or ill-fitting part due to a production error.
  • Loss of a stone from its setting due to a production error.

Circumstances covered by the 6-month warranty include:

  • Tarnishing and/or discoloration of the plating, when the usage instructions have been observed and there is no improper use*.

*Improper use includes, but is not limited to, failure to follow the usage instructions.

The following are not covered by the warranty:

  • Jewelry showing signs of abnormal wear (including dents or (severe) deformation).
  • Tarnishing of the plating due to high acidity of your skin.
  • Discoloration or damage due to improper use, e.g. from perfume use.
  • Breakage of the jewelry resulting from incorrect or improper use.
  • Fashion jewelry that has been altered and/or repaired by persons other than Biezoe employees.
  • Lost or stolen jewelry.

As of February 15, 2016, it is also possible for consumers in the EU to register complaints via the European Commission's ODR platform. This ODR platform can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/odr. If your complaint is not yet being handled elsewhere, you are free to submit your complaint via the European Union platform.
